Public Budget Meeting Date

The 2026 Public Budget Meeting date has been scheduled for Wednesday August 19, 2026 at 6:30 PM. The public will have the opportunity to ask questions and provide comments.

A Special Council Meeting is also scheduled immediately following the Public Budget Meeting where Council will consider passing the 2026 draft budget.

The agendas and draft budget will be posted on the website as soon as it is available.

Final Tax Bill - Late Notice

The 2026 final tax bills will be processed later than usual. 

Bills will be mailed the first week of October with the first instalment being due October 29, 2026 and the second due November 30, 2026.

No update is available at this time The Declaration of Emergency is being monitored and an update will be provided as soon as information becomes available. 

Fire Ban in Effect - REMOVED

The Fire Ban for Gillies Township has been lifted 

and the Fire Chief reminds you to call before you burn and to burn responsibly.

Please be advised that Fire Chief, Corey Santorelli has issued a fire ban for the 

Township of Gillies effective 

July 13, 2026 beginning at 12:00 AM (Midnight).

All fires are prohibited throughout Gillies Township until further notice.
